Overview
STS programs accomplish four important goals:
- They set the highest standard of quality at mass-production
- They provide a measure of protection to customers by giving them a credential for judging the quality standards of each individual panel
- They provide manufacturers with a way to stand out from their non-certified competition, by setting a setting the highest standard of quality at mass-production
- By potentially improving quality, they improve the public perception of the PV industry, helping increase the industry’s prominence. This includes governments, financial institutions, private investors, and similar.
